Online Residency program giving a space for artists to explore and realise an exhibition inside the babe blender shipping container.
The Babe Shipping container is made to the exact measurements of 20 x 8 x 8.6 feet, the same as a standard shipping container. A shipping container was selected because of its anonymity and its ability to transcend cultures visually.
Babe online residencies act as a low budget alternative to traditional bricks and mortar exhibition spaces and alleviates geographical barriers as the experience is URL (Uniform Resource Locator) not IRL (In Real Life).
To accompany the exhibition is an interview with the artist about the wider themes of their practice.

Applications are open to any artist who wishes to use the Babe shipping container in the following ways:
A traditional gallery setting to test out curation of IRL works photographed and placed into the gallery.
An experimental space for the creation of digitally generated 3D rendered sculpture and artwork. The only stipulation is that the container must be used in some way.
To explore the potential of 3D modelling software on their own practice.
